“I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” Romans 8:18
Lord, sometimes I get so caught up in my present sufferings, that I don’t realize they are only temporary. Suffering in life is necessary, whether it be health-related, financial, emotional, or mental stress, relationship challenges, etc. It helps to build my character and bring me closer to you. Jesus suffered, therefore, I as a Christian must be willing to suffer as well, yet I must learn to get the lessons in my suffering so that I will get the glory of the experience. It also produces perseverance in my character to triumph through adversity.
In Jesus Name, I pray, Amen.
