MORNING PRAYER Friday, June 5, 2026 ​​​​​

“Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.  Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.” Ephesians 6:10-11

​

Lord, I have learned that at some point, I’ve discovered that life resembles a battleground, rather than a playground.  I face tests, tough times, and attacks. Battle-time living requires vigilance, strategy, and focus.  You recognize false cultural ideas that challenge my values.  I acknowledge the potential for my old nature to resist God’s ways.  Thankfully, God equips me for this battle with spiritual armor, and he sent me a champion.
