MORNING PRAYER Wednesday, December 4, 2024

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” Hebrews 13:8

​

Lord, when change threatens to overwhelm me, help me to remember that change brings with it hope for better things ahead.  When it feels as if the bottom has dropped out of life and I don’t know what my future will look like.  I know I can trust you.  You stay the same forever, and there are no mysteries to you.  You see and know every step of my journey.  You know the end from the beginning and you are not surprised by anything.  I trust in you, the unchanging one.
